Puerto Rico: Day 5…

Yesterday it was Tim’s 50th birthday. Which was the reason why we are all in glitzy Puerto Rico in the first place. Okay, it was Andy‘s birthday too!

So we went out for some breakfast - with Bloody Marys if you please!

This was followed soon after by a rum distillery tour. Andy had organised special T-shirts for us all to wear. “Are you a bachelor party?” one of our co-tasters quipped. 

The tour was good, the 10 rums we tried were great. Most with infusions; plain, dark, coconut, mango, ginger, passion fruit, quenepa, candy cane, pineapple. 

I got chatting to an American guy called Chase who is a Liverpool fan who said to me “hope you guys stuff City” 😅

In the evening, we went out for an amazing meal in San Juan Old Town.
