PSV Eindhoven 1 - 1 Arsenal…

Dead rubbers rarely excite. And so it was in Eindhoven last night.   

Arsenal didn’t have much to prove, having already topped our Champions League Group B, and so, as predicted, Mikel Arteta fielded a much-changed team. Eight new faces from the weekend's Premier League loss at Aston Villa.  

Just William Saliba, Gabriel and Kai Havertz retained their starting spots.  

It led to a disjointed performance overall, although Arsenal took the lead through Eddie Nketiah after 42 minutes.  

But a lively PSV earned a deserved point via Yorbe Vertessen's fine equaliser some minutes later.  

A few things to note about this fixture:-  

• It was expensive 😑  
  
• We were treated like cattle at the stadium 🫤  
  
• The away fan enclosure is awful 😵  
  
• Some Gooners seemed keen on smoking us all out with flares and a smoke bomb  🙄  
• Arsenal did people staying in Amsterdam proud by laying on a special train right from the stadium 😀
  
• It was great spending time with other gaygooners 😀
