Arsenal didn’t have much to prove, having already topped our Champions League Group B, and so, as predicted, Mikel Arteta fielded a much-changed team. Eight new faces from the weekend's Premier League loss at Aston Villa.
Just William Saliba, Gabriel and Kai Havertz retained their starting spots.
It led to a disjointed performance overall, although Arsenal took the lead through Eddie Nketiah after 42 minutes.
But a lively PSV earned a deserved point via Yorbe Vertessen's fine equaliser some minutes later.
A few things to note about this fixture:-
- It was expensive 😑
- We were treated like cattle at the stadium 🫤
- The away fan enclosure is awful 😵
- Some Gooners seemed keen on smoking us all out with flares and a smoke bomb 🙄
- Arsenal did people staying in Amsterdam proud by laying on a special train right from the stadium 😀
- It was great spending time with other gaygooners 😀
