It was a frustrating night from start to finish to be honest in Birmingham.
After conceding an early goal we never really recovered or took the chances when they came.
Frustratingly, Arsenal did have an injury time Kai Havertz effort ruled out for handball by ref Jarred Gillett, with the VAR upholding the decision after a very, very lengthy review.
Sadly, a sub-par performance on the pitch was mirrored somewhat by terrible behaviour off it - homophobia has no place in football. More on that to follow.
And the cherry on the cake? All the trains back to London were cancelled.
A night to be forgotten TBH.
