On Friday night Paul and I went to see the rather wonderful Fascinating Aida at the Kings Head in glamorous Islington's Upper Street.
Clever, witty, rude and musical their new stuff worked brilliantly - spot on politically as ever and wildly funny.
Paul and I have been fans of FA for over twenty years and the girls haven't lost any of their charm. It was a riotous evening from the queens of topical satire, cabaret and musicality mirth.
The song '50p' about added costs to cheap flights was a gem. 'The Markets' (a Gilbert and Sullivanesque romp through derivatives, hedge funds and arbitrage) was a riot too. And the classics were... well... simply classic. 'Dogging' seems to get funnier with every new listening. The gals are an inspiration.
