TV vs. HD vs. World Cup...


News about high definition TV and the World Cup: Telewest scores HDTV deal for World Cup. Yay! So we'll be abe to watch every match in HD!

And in related news, the BBC have launched HD but... the schedule is not exactly gripping i.e it's Eastenders and it's "not originated in HD" i.e. it's interpolated.

    ahem, the schedule proper doesn't start til 9th June when some big global sporting event kicks in ... til then it's upconverted SD of BBC One in primetime M-F. next weekend is rather spesh though - all of bleak house and most (all?) of planet earth too :-)
