Arsenal away games are always fun. Especially overseas ones. From the initial scramble for travel, the weird hotels you can find yourself in, the spending times with mates, the game itself, the Darth Vader level of policing…. Oh, and the one-for-the-road tango, the unexpected drag shows, and the laughter. Lots and lots of laughter.
The game itself was ok, I guess. 2-2 draw against Sporting Lisbon. We’ll need to do better in the home leg next week.
For me it’s a dash home now. Got opera at the Colesium tonight. And those Rhinemadens wait for no man.
