Last Friday night, Stuart & I went to see Mrs Warren’s Profession at the Garwick Theatre in London’s glitzy West End.
Imelda Staunton is force of nature as house-of-ill-repute hostess Mrs. Warren - charming, sharp-tongued, & utterly unapologetic. Shaw’s social satire crackles in her hands, turning the mother-daughter showdown into fiery dance of secrets & sass.
It’s bold, brisk, & brimming with bite.
