Berlin...

Darren, Mark, Stu and I went to Berlin for the long weekend just gone. In spite of the rather persistent rain we had an amazing time; sight-seeing, eating, drinking, meeting old friends (hello Charlie!) and new (Hello Alex! Hello Ollie! Hello Olrik!) and getting up to all sorts of mischief.

We stayed at the Axel Hotel which was really quite good and right in the middle of the gay district. Review: Recommended.

While we were there we did a walking tour (self-guided - thank you Darren) and a bus tour (with live commentary). Both were great ways to see the city.

The bars we went to were mainly Scheune (hello Sheena Easton), Tom's (pretty but generic), Hafen (nice but the drunks were annoying), Heile Welt (ugh) and Woof (nice bar staff!). Next time we'll go to lab.oratory too!
