To welcome in the New Year, Darce and I went to an afternoon of orchestral film music at the glitzy Barbican Hall.
Similar to Wednesday's show, this time Hans Zimmer was along for the ride as the London Concert Orchestra performed excerpts from some of the best scores of arguably the two greatest film composers of all time.
Showman Robert Emery was on conductor duties and we had the usual appearance of Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and the odd costume change or two.
The repertoire included E.T., Star Wars, Gladiator, Superman, Man of Steel, Harry Potter, Inception, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, The Terminal, Da Vinci Code, Dark Knight Rises & Pirates of the Caribbean.
Great fun.
Afterwards Stuart joined us and we three all went out for a slap-up meal at Cote before the night's festivities started in earnest.
