Paris Match…

Yesterday Stuart & were due to start our summer holiday - a tour of northern Italy - all by train.  Only we couldn’t. 

Sadly there had been a landslide destroying the main railway track that connects France to Italy. The line won't be cleared and repaired for up to two months. Yikes! So we had to cancel everything. 😕

The good news is, we could get as far as France though. So Plan B it was. 

So we hastily rebooked our trip to take in not only Paris but on to Poitiers, La Rochelle, Bordeaux, and Toulouse and as many villages in between as we can manage in 10 days. Basically all the wine regions we can. Yes, we’re going to try and single-handedly drink that wine lake dry so the French don’t have to destroy all that wine after all!  🍷 🍷 🍷 Ha Ha.
