I do like these maps. I've been to 26, adding 3 (Japan, Greece, Portugal) last year. I already have two new ones (Mexico, Sweden) planned for the first half of this year too.
42 is very impressive (as well as being the meaning of life). Lots of people on flickr have these maps so I've done mine before, but my total is a measly 20 (8%). I should be adding Slovakia to the list this year though, as friends have just moved there.I'm happy to tick Thailand, even if it was just a one hour stop on the way to Australia, but hey, I've been to Asia! It also makes me laugh the way it colours in Alaska if you've paid one visit to the USA, as I have. I've never been anywhere near Alaska. (Did you notice that the list isn't up-to-date with the split of Serbia and Montenegro into independent nations?)
And let's not forget Hawaii. And going to Moscow and St Petersburg seems to happily colour in all the way to the Baring Straits.
