Perched high in the Boston Stadium Darce, Ethan, Lauren, Matt and I watched Scotland edge Haiti. It was proper end to end football, with the ball rarely staying still long enough to learn anyone’s name. The Tartan Army supplied the soundtrack, the atmosphere crackled, and the World Cup once again proved why people cross oceans for it.
