Danny Welbeck...

Striker Danny Welbeck had a medical at Arsenal last night and then completed the move from Manchester United FC to Arsenal FC for £16m.

Danny Welbeck is the U2 of football; neither as good as the fanatics believe nor as bad as the haters suggest.

Still, it gives a strong English core at Arsenal - Chambers, Gibbs, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wilshere, Walcott ... and now Welbeck.

It was freezing at the Emirates Stadium last night at the FA Cup replay. Jack left it to the 86th minute to score saving us all another 30 minutes of extra time in the cold.

We made hard work of it, but fully deserved to win the game. Wilshere absolutely outstanding, earned that goal. What a player.

Arsenal 2 - 0 Montpellier...

Jack Wiltshire is back. His first goal for the Gunners in two year's broke the first half deadlock and started the team on the road to a 2-0 victory and entrance to the lockout stages of the Champions League. After scoring he ran into the stands to embrace his physio. Bless.

The second goal came from Podolski whose powerful left-footed volley delightfully sealed the win.
