Last Friday night I got the train up to Manchester for the night to watch the mighty Arsenal take on Manchester City in the 4th round of the FA Cup. We lost, but that didn't stop us having a rare old time on the train (albeit with a delay - refund please Avanti), at the ground (took aaaages to get in), and in various hostelries around the gay village (Albert Schloss followed by G*A*Y).
It was a loooong journey back home on the Saturday morning though via Sheffield - sat next to a dog!
