It took us almost 24 hours to get to La Paz. Three flights. A bit of turbulence en route. Exhausting. But we’re here!
First thing to notice La Paz is very high (4000m) so we are suffering somewhat from altitude sickness. Fast heart rate, headaches, feeling nauseous.
But been out exploring though. Very friendly people. We like it. The food is surprisingly civilised. Hamster meat has so far escaped our menu though. 🙂
A restful day. The serious touristing starts tomorrow.
