Standard Life Breaks It's Promise...
To help pay off my mortgage I took out two endowment policies with Standard Life. And in 2000 they promised they would make up the shortfall when these policies mature. They called it the Mortgage Promise. Only now they've broken that promise - the best they can do is probably only 40% tops. Fuckers. I should have stuck with using a piggy bank.
