Succession is such a fantastically dark comedy show. Jesse Armstrong is a genius. So well written.

Four children all looking in vain for their media empire father’s approval. So far, so Murdoch.

Jeremy Strong’s Kendall is the most damaged of the four. Almost psychotic in his drive for his Dad’s love and attention.

Connor played by Alan Ruck has all but given up on his Dad - he’s been rejected so many times. “He never liked me anyway”.

Sarah Snook's finest performance is probably in the latest Season 4, Episode 3. She still holds out hope her Dad loves her. But she is a politician and knows he doesn’t. She’s brilliant as Shiv.

But for me though Kieran Culkin steals the show as youngest sibling Roman. His funny, petulant, vulnerability is a joy. He loves his Dad to a fault. And gets wickedly abused for his misplaced trust.
