Radio 1's New Covers' Album...
Anyone who knows knows I'm partial to a cover version. So it is with some delight I see that Radio 1 is releasing a covers' album to celebrate its 40 years on the air. The idea was that each band had to pick a hit from each of the past 40 years. So for instance Robbie Williams got 1970 and decided to record Lola by the Kinks - doing it with Guy Chambers too which is nice. Album's out in October I think. Here's the full track listing:
