Today we are starting our adventure going back down to South America.
This time we are hopefully making it as far as Antarctica. Last year we tried, but failed. There was a typhoon in our path, stopping us making that final step onto the icy continent.
We are first flying to Madrid and then picking up a flight to the Chilean capital before heading to the coast for a few days to acclimatise.
Chile is probably our favourite South American country. Friendly people, great food, and a cheerful outlook on life.
